This seems to be a generic Buffy clip i made, apparently based on the turmoil that was Buffy's life.  Seriously who wouldn't drown under the weight of everything she went through.

Overprotected

Standard feeling for a teenager but in the case of Buffy it might have been for good reason?  Oh thats the adult in me speaking, for Buffy it was a problem.

Mistaken Identity

This felt really quirky, cos the two episodes this is based on seemed to fast and actin-y and yet the song isn't that at all, and still, it worked.  As I've stated before, i love Faith, and this pair of episodes were just soooo fun.

An episode study of an episode that upset so many fans.  Personally i thought it was great!

Gwens Got the Looks

Character study...well more celebration to be honest.  She didn't get nearly enough episodes, I loved Gwen.

Be Strong

Buffy went through so much, and depression was a given really.  I was going through a hard time in my life at the time i was making these and as such this song really spoke to me when i heard it.  It just HAD to be paired up with Buffy.  

N.B.  I got a note from a viewer after i made this, telling me that this clip had helped her through a really tough time and possibly even saved her life...so yay.

Seven minutes, for Seven Years

Chosen

All about the episode 'Chosen' I would say.  Not sure if all the footage comes from only that episode but eh whatever it' fun to watch.

Confessions in Goergia

So this had to be one of my most popular clips back in the day.  It is my most heavy Alternate reality clip, using the footage from Buffy to tell an utterly different story.  I guess i kinda cheated cos the song actually tells the story but...well anyways people seemed to like it.

Britney at the Bronze

OK another alternate reality.  The bronze needed recognition too, being a central location of the show.  So what if Britney Sears visited the Bronze?  Here's how it might have looked.  now the coloured border was added because at the time i was unable to get a copy of the Britney clip at a larger size and i didn't just want to make a tiny clip and decided to use the border to my advantage, or at least try.

Shadow

I never liked Buffy and Riley, heck  never liked Riley, mostly Cos he wasn't Buffy.  But i couldn't deny it happened, and thus made a clip.  Not one of my best.

Lost

Relationship study.  Willow and Oz.  Ok yes i loved Willow and Tara bt that doesn't mean i can't love this one too.  They were so sweet together and it was so sad to see it not work.

Can't Live

Back to the couple that should have been.  Buffy and Angel, remember i was a teenager, it actually hurt me to watch these two fall apart.  And now as an adult it still odes because i remember just how in love i was with the idea of them.  This was made some time after the first one i made, beleiveing that the couple deserved a more practiced hand than my other one game them.  So.  Many. Feels

Alone

Ah Spike.  Easily one of the reasons i became hooked on the show, one of the best guys the show ever had, and then later one of the most sad, tortured character they had.  I had SO many requests to make a Buffy and Spike clip, as they seemed to be quite a popular pairing among fans. I was not one of them.  I was never able to make a clip that explored the romance between them, the connection, their relationship yes but never in a romantic way really.  This one was more about how Spike did love Buffy, it was never right but i never denied that he loved her.

speaking of odd character studies...here's another bad guy.  I didn't even like S4 but the character fit the song.

18 Wheeler

So i chose some strange ones but i enjoyed doing character studies, there's not one of Xander but here's one of the season 5 bad guy glory.  This was made as an entry to a 'comedy' category in a competition, and it'd also my only P!nk song used for these.

More Like Me

She was one of the most annoying characters in the show, but so central from season 5 onwards.  One day i decided to watch her as much as possible while i watched and came up with this character study of Buffy's little sister

Before I Die

Another character study.  Anyanka.  A little off centre,very quirky and scared of bunnies.  That's how most of us remember her, but the truth of it was, she's a bad ass demon who can and does kick butt when the time is right.  This is meant to explore that darker side that we don't really get to see otherwise.

So i heard 'I've got the power' and thought of willow and sooo wanted to make that clip that i got to learning how to make them.  This was the one i made to learn how to make them.  the quality ins't great and it's a pretty basic clip but, these two were my favourite couple of the show, Buffy belonged with NO ONE else, and it seemed like the obvious place to start.  

War

This one i made for my mother.  She loves the song, and it worked so well with that feeling of just being done that both Buffy and Spike give at different times during the show, just...being done and ok with it.  They both sacrificed so much.  This is NOT a couple video for Buffy and Spike, this is more of a demonstration of how they were both heroes.

Close Your Eyes.

Another character study.  Darla, bad guy, fragile human, recovering vampire, lover, sire, mother.  She was a fun character to watch and to make this of, now i was playing with the effects in my editing suite on this one so it's a little special effects heavy.  Oh and the wrestling entry song music, there's a few of these actually.

Willow Power

So character studies.  This clip is why i got into making clips in the first place, the song, the theme it just worked.  i made it very early on in my clipping and then when i had better equipment and better know how i remade it to be more like i originally envisioned it to be from the beginning.

Love is a Battlefield

Speaking of alternate realities someone actually asked me to make this one.  i wasn't sure of it to begin with but it certainly challenged me but watching it now it seemed to kind of work.

Faith and Angelus

This relationship never really happened either, a flash in the pan glimpse only unfortunately.  I said before Faith was more than just the bad girl...oh but when she was bad it was delicious and to be paired up with Angelus (not Angel) Wouldn't that have been beautiful to behold.

This is a mild version of 'alternate reality' clipping.  I have others that played with creating alternate story lines using material form the shows, this is kind of just a lite version of that.

A bit of light humour on this one, a relationship that never really quite happened in the show, oh they were cute together though.

When Dvoes Cry

When i started out making clips i knew i wanted to make one for my favourite character but it had to be right, not jsut showing the anger, and rage and bad girl but so much more than that.  I eventually found the right song and this is what i came up with.

Oh My Love.

There once was a show of the rather unfortunate name 'Buffy: The Vampire Slayer'  It began in 1996 when i was 15/16  and i make no exaggeration in saying that it helped me get through those years and helped make me the person i was until i had kids.

My love for this show has not yet and i rather doubt will ever be overshadowed by any other piece of media.  Anyone who knows me well enough knows that Doctor who comes close today, but even that can't quite watch what Buffy meant to me in my life all those years ago.  

When it ended I went into mourning, i make not joke here, and honestly I still miss it.  I kept the show alive for myself just a little bit longer when i decided to make video clips of Buffy to music that shouted at me about a theme or a character.

Visiting a friend the other day she had an episode of their rewatch running and i watched the end of it...somehow i'd forgotten what it meant to me, not intellectually but the feel of it, the sound of it the sight of it, i'd let it fade.  I'm waiting till my kids are old enough to enjoy it too before i dedicate myself to a real rewatch but it made me go and locate the video clips i made.  

I've had some trouble finding a place to host these, YouTube keeps taking them down. So i'm putting them here, I hope this works.
